Pre & Autism Post diagnosis

This can be an emotional and uncertain time.  Often families can be left feeling confused and unsure of where to turn. Parents often realise themselves that something is "different" about their child, or perhaps a family member, friend or professional voices "concerns".

However it happens, the term Autism Spectrum enters your life. Having been there, I understand the emotions personally those words can bring to a parent who hasn't thought of Autism before.   To make matters worse, most will, of course, turn to the internet which if full of myths and misinformation as well as great articles, strategies and advice. But how do you know what is good information and what is not?  The worry parents and loved ones go through is "getting it wrong"...

Here are some websites with valid information about autism. I will add to it and welcome additions.
